about the zine: "Itchy Spots" is an haptic excerpt from his blog theyfoundmybodybytheriver.tumblr.com - updated almost daily. First and foremost, it shows drawings: faces. Beautiful, distressed, disturbing faces, strange looking or having something running out of them - for example. Second, it's about music. This is probably because drawing is quicker. In terms of music "They Found My Body By The River" also functions as topic and band name which short tracks keep dealing with ethno, home-recording phenomena, film music idioms and soul mates like Cocteau, Fichte or Genet. The one or the other: well, it's itching - it's just itching! The scratched parts are possibly still visible in a few years' time.
Ansgar Wilken. First son of a pastor from the East Frisian province. Prone to melancholy, excitement, excess and pushy modesty at the periphery of D.I.Y, sound and social work.
